Making Change work is often harder than we imagine

Its a matter of the sending and receiving information on the same levels with assimilation of the information in ways that the individual receiver can appreciate from their own perspective not only those of the sender. Ultimately, people change when and if they are ready and so transformational change rarely happens overnight. This is where story telling comes in. Relating a story about an example where change is already happening, with characters that mirror and match those of the audience to the story, resonance and relevance is generated, connecting them at an emotional level and offering a means of understanding a way forward and make change more acceptable. This is the key to making things change.
